Following from our sold out Monday 23rd of April show we are pleased to announce Tangerine Dream will play an extra night, Tuesday, April 24th in the iconic Union Chapel. The two shows will be their first return to London since 2014, and their first dates since the tragic death of the band’s founder, Edgar Froese.

Support on the night will come from the superb Richard Barbieri, synthesizer player, keyboardist, composer and member of the prodigious Japan and Porcupine Tree.

Undoubtedly one of the most pioneering electronic bands of the past 50 years, Tangerine Dream have released over one hundred albums (not counting compilations and fan releases) over the last four decades.

Following Froese’s death, the group's remaining members (Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Schnauss, and Hoshiko Yamane and Froese's widow Bianca Acquaye) pledged to continue working together in an effort to fulfill Edgar's vision for the group.

Their most recent album Quantum Gate was released in September 2017 to wide critical acclaim, coinciding with the 50-year anniversary of the founding of the band. The album is based on ideas and musical sketches by founder Edgar Froese, and was completed by the remaining members of the band.
