Tangerine Dream announce new concert in Poland

JUNE 9:  CONCERT:  Tangerine Dream - The Quantum Years - in honour of Edgar Froese, Philharmony Szczecin (Małopolska 48, 70-515 Szczecin), Poland. 7.00pm:

Originally the well-known electronic musician Klaus Schulze had been invited to perform at the beautiful Philharmony Szczecin in the context of their SOUNDLAB 2015/2016 series but due to severe health problems he unfortunately had to cancel this concert now. At the same time Klaus asked us if we would like to perform and yes, it fits perfectly time-wise. Thank you, Klaus, for remembering your early roots at TD and we wish you all the very best for your health and a speedy recovery.

The philharmony already announced TD under "current events" on their website but so far in Polish language only.

The concert was already sold out, but surely some will return their tickets, so there will be a chance to buy one for TD.

Just have a look at the beautiful concert hall:

We are happy to meet some Polish fans again!

From the venue website:

Ladies, Gentlemen and Music Lovers, sadly, we would like to inform that we have received a message about a bad health condition of Klaus Schulze, who was to give a concert closing this year’s edition of SoundLab series at the Philharmonic in Szczecin on the 9th of June.
In the announcement the Philharmonic received, we read “the concert has to be cancelled because of medical reasons. The state of health will not improve in the foreseeable future. Klaus Schulze is in constant medical treatment.” We have also received a copy of the medical certificate.

We are terribly sorry about the whole situation, which we have no influence on.

To compensate the fans for any inconvenience connected with the cancellation of the Klaus Schulze concert, and to aptly finish the SoundLab series, which has become extremely popular with many fans during the passing season, the Philharmonic in Szczecin has decided to invite Tangerine Dream, a band Klaus Schulze cooperated with (the suggestion to invite this band appeared during the talks with Schulze’s representatives).

Despite the death of Edgar Froese, Tangerine Dream’s founder in January 2015, the latest material he had been working on, will see the light of day and will be performed live as expressed in his last will. The June concert at the Philharmonic in Szczecin will be taking place first after Froese’s departure and will be fully devoted to him.

Those of you, who would like to attend the concert: TANGERINE DREAM - THE QUANTUM YEARS - IN HONOUR OF EDGAR FROESE, are more than welcome. The tickets bought for the Klaus Schulze concert remain still valid.

Those of you, who prefer to return your tickets, please contact the Philharmonic ticket office. Returning tickets bought online should be done via the internet email - The refunds will be transferred to the bank account, from wich the purchase was made. The refunds will begin on Monday (18.04.2016). Additional information at or +48 91 431 07 20.
