The unofficial Tangerine Dream Newsletter.
Dedicated to the memory of Edgar Froese 1944 - 2015
It would be nice a book with the complete autobiography of Edgar :-)
The sculpture of Salvador Dali's head Edgar made in the 60's, Seeing the band playing their classic compositions with original equipments, More documentary recordings from Tours, Studio-work (preferably unreleased ones), Since 70's till today shown on background screens!!
What's the weather like in Fremont?
A TD hoodie or jacket! Like in to old days!
Conrad - you are too old for these - how about a nice jumper or slippers? ;)
An all cotton robe (like the ones found in those nice hotels) with the TD emblem in front and written on the back "I'm in bed with the King" Only those few would know the meaning of it. TDI beach towel. So we could take to the beach and lay out!!A REAL guy's TD Tour t-shirt. Sorry. But I did not care for the latest tour shirt. One of my friends who was at the LA show thought the new tour shirt looked to girly for the guys to be wearing. My first impressions when I saw it online was the same to. . . . .but I went ahead and bought one anyways. Don't know if I'll be wearing it. . . .yet. A real hat (baseball style caps). The flex type. No not the trucker style caps. Programs - Tour programs. Pint Glasses - I think most of here drink Beer!! The closest thing I could find with Tangerine on a pint glass is one one California's brewery's thats a Tangerine Wheat beer glass. I think CJ has one. Mine broke about 2 years ago.
You know what else I'd like to purchase at a TD concert? The actual recording of the show/concert. After the concert you go and purchase it and pick it up before heading out. I've notice a few bands are doing that these days. I got one the last time the Allman Brothers Band came to LA. A great idea and your getting your a bootleg (sort of) of the concert you attended.
A hoodie would be nice ... and Con isn´t too old for that, as i´m older ... ha ha.chris, berlin
A T-shirt which *fits*, I mean some slim shape, not these XXXXXL sizes. Haven't got one in a long time, they at least used to be far to big.
As long as I can see Edgar Froese and gang still on the road and still making music I am more than happy. They remain streets ahead of the so- called "elite" competition, and long may it continue. I would not mind a decent t-shirt though with "Tangerine Dream, the original and best" on the front. That should keep them damn grizzlies happy :-))
